So Hoang-Anh, don't worry. I've got some ideas. Naturally they are all fiction and would be much more interesting than what really happened.
Here's a pic of Liisa and me at Carcassone, visiting the (recreated) medieval walled city. We are eating panini. They were good. We had just lugged our suitcases up a cobblestone-paved hill. So much fun! I later realized that Minas Tirith must have been based on this fortified city. You could buy replicas of Aragorn's sword (The blade that was reforged! Anduril! The Flame of the West!) at a gift shop there. Oh yikes.). But it was beautiful anyway, despite the whiff of Disneyland that it had about it.

"well, that's good, too." Too. Too. Too.
Yay! So glad you're writing! Can't wait to read it. And, I'm willing to offer ideas. I mean, I've never been to Istanbul, but what the heck, it's all about relationships, right? I can make it up, since I have no real relationships!
No, really, I'm glad you're going to do it. It will be really interesting, and I mean it.
If you're going to write about your trip, don't forget how your two ton red suitcase was a metaphor for _____. "You did realize we were backpacking, right?"
If there's one thing I hope you learned, it's that it's normal and healthy for siblings to fight and yell and scream at each other, but it's not okay for you to suffocate them with a Glad bag and bury them in a shallow French grave.
Miss you, sis!
